World as Our Classroom: FRANCE!

World as Our Classroom: FRANCE! DATE: 04-29-2015

April 29, 2015- Students who were fortunate enough to spend springtime in Paris -and other French villages- presented highlights from their trip at this week’s full-school assembly, Monday Morning meeting. These guys did the hits in a whirlwind tour de France: Paris, Nice, Monaco, Cote d’Azur, Nimes & Avignon in Provence, Carcassonne, Bordeaux, Loire Valley, St. Malo, and Normandy.

Coming from our small-town lifestyle, students relished the speed and grace of the City of Lights and loved visiting more provincial locales inhabited by the likes of Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet and even Leonardo daVinci. They visited fairytale castles in the Loire Valley and enjoyed fairytale views from their hotels at night (photo credit: Bryce Landon).

Teacher leaders Scott Tarbox and Anderson Thorp said that they could not have asked for a better group of students, not to mention the perfect weather!
