Project SEARCH at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is a one year business-led transition program for young adults with developmental disabilities. It provides participants with total workplace immersion that facilitates a seamless combination of classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on training through work-site rotations. It is a collaboration between Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Hartford School District, Lincoln Street, Inc., and New Hampshire and Vermont Vocational Rehabilitation.

This month DHMC’s Project SEARCH program was one of 78 in the U.S. to be honored at Project SEARCH’s 16th Annual Conference in Milwaukee, WI, in July.
