World Languages & Culture

There are three Performance Based Learning Outcomes for this content area.  They are:

1. Interpretive Communication: Understand the target language through reading and listening.
2. Presentational Communication: Express ideas through one-way writing and speaking in the target language.
3. Interpersonal Communication: Exchange ideas through written and spoken communication in the target language.

The WLC Department based our Learning Objectives & Performance Indicators on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Proficiency Benchmarks and Performance Indicators.
